American-Palestinian Adolescent Released After 270 Days in Israeli Detention

An Palestinian-American teenager having endured a nine-month period in Israeli detention without being charged was released.
Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 when he was arrested this past winter in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida accused of stone-throwing at Jewish settlers, claims he consistently denied.
The US state department applauded the teenager's freedom.
Mohammed, now 16, was taken to hospital for treatment immediately after release, family members reported.

American authorities announced ongoing to extend consular services to Mohammed's family.

Mr Ibrahim, with four children who runs an ice cream business based in Tampa, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations regarding stone throwing after being assaulted by soldiers.
The father hadn't visited nor direct contact since the arrest, learning information solely regarding the treatment via legal paperwork.
The teenager remained without charge within Ofer penitentiary in the West Bank.
It is also home to grown detainees, some of whom have been convicted regarding severe security violations and murder.
An estimated 350 Palestinian child security detainees currently imprisoned in Israel, based on prison authority data.
